I received my Ph.D. in Computational Physics from the University at Albany, SUNY, in the Summer of 2010. My thesis advisor was Tara Prasad Das. I studied electronic wave-functions and energetic properties of solid state and bio-molecular systems (Quantum Chemistry). I have a number of published papers and have presented at several conferences (APS March Meeting, Hyperfine). For my work I’ve generally used Gaussian or Orca Ab Initio software packages.

In my career I am a Data Engineer with experience in Tableau, Power BI, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS (Tabular Models), Power Query (M Formula Language), DAX, SQL, VBA, SAP (BW, BEx, HANA), R, Python (Pandas), Azure Data Lakes, Data Factory, Synapse, and Databricks. I am experienced in using Kimball methodology for designing Data Warehouses, proper Dev Ops implementation using Dev, Stage, Prod Sup and Prod environments, Agile methodology for product delivery (Jira, Confluence), and version control using Git.

I have worked in the Optical Engineering, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, and Cosmetic Industries. Projects have included identification of suspicious purchasing patterns by hospitals, pharmacies, and retailers of controlled substances; the COVID-19 financial impact to hospitals; COVID-19 impact to patients by demographics (age, ethnicity, spoken language); and search patterns of engineers sourcing engineering products.
